The primary criticism of the MTH 785 unit is its slow operation.
By replacing the internal pulley with a larger one, the speed of operation can be greatly improved, approximately doubling the speed!
The brass pulley, specially made for this installation, is available from Port Lines for $8.50. (Add $1.50 shipping, if that's all you need.) The original MTH pulley is shown below, on the left. Our replacement is shown on the right.
